Saturday night The BF & I did Date Night! We headed to Cafe Manna to indulge in green eats!
We started with the soup of the day: Roasted Butternut Squash with toast nuts/seeds. It was so tasy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness.
I went for the daily specials menu and got the Champignon Burger – which is a mushroom burger with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and rosemary aioli, with a side of roasted potatoes. The BF & I both loved this dish.

The BF got the Island Skewers – Marinated Veggies & Tofu with a sweet & spicy citrus teriyaki sauce over macadamia jasmine rice. It was a great dish, although The BF would have preferred more sauce…he likes his condiments.
Dessert was the Chocolate BErry Tort…new I say more? No, it rocked.

I ate there a couple months ago and I was not terribly impressed. The service was super slow and the food was bland. There wasn’t even any salt and pepper on the table to give an assist; I suppose we could have asked for some, but our waitress essentially ignored us.
They were also out of a lot of stuff, which was odd for a weekend.
I’ve heard other people like the place, so it might be worth revisiting, but for being a vegetarian restaurant it didn’t really leave a good taste in my mouth.
