Vegan MoFo 2010 – Day 7 – Bathroom Products: Face Care

Finding a good face care regime was very difficult for my. I was a long time clinque customer. I suffer from oily/combo skin with the added bonus of adult acne (believe it or not, I never had pimples as a teenager…I hit my mid 20’s and well, that changed!) I’m still in search of a good acne medicine (please let me know if you have one, I’m trying a few…). but I have found that the Earth Science Clarifying line of products has helped greatly in controlling oil and making my face look fab (aside from the 1 or 2 pimples I get almost every month, oy!)imageI used the Clarifying Face Wash & the Astringent – both leave my face feeling refreshed. Followed by whatever acne medicine I’m currently trying and then the SPF 15 almond moisturizer. At night I add the A/B Hydroxy Acid Night Rejuvenator. I haven’t noticed any increased wrinkles, but I have noticed my face looks brighter and more refreshed.

Price: $8.99 to $15.99ea for the regular face care items, the A/B Hydroxy Acid Night Rejuvenator is about $20.

Overall rating: 3 1/2 piggies – the night treatment is expensive, but the rest is affordable and makes my skin feel fab!

  1. Hey, thanks for posting about their products! I only have the herbal toner, eye make up remover and a-d-e cleanser (I did a post on the latter yesterday), but I’m curious to try out other earth science products in the future.

I use this line as well and love it! I have suffered skin issues for years and even been on acne meds but find with this line I don’t have to worry about acne. I also love their refreshing toner which is great in the hot humid summers to take away excess oil and cool my face down.

  3. I think I looked at these at Whole Foods last week, but I was on a low grocery budget day, so I had to move on. 😛 I’ll be sure to check them out again next time I run out of cleanser!

I love this line – I use the SPF Almond moisturizer every day. It works so well for dry skin, and I love that I know what [basically] every ingredient is. Nice post!
